Indigenous Student Support

P’jilasi / Kulasihkulpon / Welcome!

We are so glad you have chosen NBCC for your educational journey. At NBCC, our students always remain at the centre of everything we do. We know that navigating through College can be challenging sometimes. Our Indigenous Student Success Coach team can serve as your first point of contact to respond to inquiries and connect you with services and support.

Peer Mentor Program

As a Peer Mentor, you will offer peer support and guidance to students, answering questions about cultural support and student services available on campus and in the community, while sharing your own experiences to support resource navigation and community connection.

Peer mentors work in partnership with the Student Services team and will have the opportunity to provide important feedback, network and develop transformative relationships with students and staff. This role provides peer support that recognizes the cultural background and unique learning needs of students.
